Starting the Editing Process
In class earlier today I finished up with the filming process. There was only two shots that I felt could be better.
The first shot was the closeup of my face. All I needed to do was change my expression to better portray determination.
The second shot was the shot of me going up the stairs. The first take didn’t have very good lighting. Today the sky wasn’t cloudy so there was more light outside.
Late in the day I started editing my video. When I got home from class I sat at my computer and began editing. I used adobe Premiere Pro for my edits because I have experience using Adobe.
I first put all my clips together and had a quick look through what I had. Then I started to piece together each clip. The editing wasn’t flawless but the next day I edit I can make more finer adjustments.
After combining some clips that looked good I began looking online for some songs or audio clips I could use. I decided to use the iconic Rocky theme. This song is the best way to show training or the work it takes to become better.
I also added a few overlays and changes to the video. These changes will help to make the video look better overall. I was only able to add the effects to some clips, because changing the clips takes a long time.
After editing for a while I decided to save my work and work on it another time. I made good progress today and my commercial is coming along great.
