The Final Product

         After a lot of hard work and effort I finally finished the commercial. The commercial took a lot of time to make but I think the finished product looked good.

    This was my first time using Adobe Premiere to create a project. It turned out a lot better than I expected and I had a lot of fun.

    During this project I learned more about the filming process. I also learned how to use Premiere Pro better. One issue I had during the project was adding vfx. I couldn't figure out how to add effects to the video so I ended up just adding music, sound effects, and edited it the clips together.

    Overall the project was fun and I enjoyed creating it. I am excited for my future video projects and I can't wait for my future in filmmaking.

Editing the Film Based on the Critiques

    My group and I gathered all of our recommendations and critiques for the film into a google doc. In the doc we summarized the changes that we should make for the film. The most important change that we need to make is the look of the movie.      I met up with Rashawn after school to work on the project. Our goal for today's work on the project was to change the overall look of the film. The original filter on the film was meant to make the situation feel more tense. It is used often in other films to make the setting feel almost darker.      I suggested that maybe it was just the fact that the filter was too much. Types of Music for the Film

     My group and I decided that for our project we are going to create our own music. One of the most important steps to creating our own music is deciding the genre. I have a few ideas for what would be good choices for my groups film. Hip-Hop The first few scenes show the main character going through his daily life. The main character is a young male high school student. A popular genre that is often used is hip-hop music to show a montage of a teenagers life. Hip-hop provides an upbeat tone that can help comedic moments showing the main characters bad luck. Pop Music Pop is another classic genre used to show a young characters day to day life. Pop is very similar to hip-hop music with its effect on the reader. Pop could be a better choice over hip-hop due to the popularity of the genre.
